The cataract is an opacification of the lens that causes a decrease in your visual acuity.
The symptoms are :

  1. Progressive decrease of the far distance vision
  2. Glare, seeing “halos” around lights
  3. Clouded, blurred vision
  4. Fading or yellowing of colors

The treatment consists of replacing the lens with an implant. For more information on this procedure, please refer to « eye surgery ».
